Positive Reaction handles all aspects of PR and marketing for LIBRA on an ongoing basis, helping to raise awareness about the appeal and increasing the number of supporters. We have successfully developed various marketing tools including a quarterly newsletter, fundraising packs and new look website – www.libralionscharity.org
We are holding a number of fundraising activities throughout 2010 and hope to boost funds for LIBRA. Media coverage is growing as more journalists learn about the appeal and the need to raise funds for the cell therapy department at King’s College Hospital in London.
Claire Allaker works as PR Manager for Spofforths, providing the marketing team with support on a regular basis. With an exciting plan of activity for 2010, she will be helping to promote events, sponsorships and all firm news.
Claire handles all media enquiries relating to Spofforths and looks to secure positive coverage for the firm, promoting its core values and services. Claire also co-ordinates advertising campaigns and interviews with partners, ensuring that deadlines are met.
Gemma Spofforth : British Backstroke Swimmer
Positive Reaction acts as Media Manager for Gemma, taking the pressure away from the sports star as she focuses on her busy training schedule. Gemma lives in Florida and we deal with UK media enquiries, ensuring that journalists receive the latest information about her competitions and plans for London 2012.
We followed her progress throughout 2009 and organised a press conference in the UK after she secured gold in the 100m backstroke event during the World Championships in Rome. 2010 is sure to be another exciting year for Gemma and we plan to communicate her success stories, both in and outside of the pool.
